In 2013 as the Institute of Physics Schools and Colleges lecturer, Laura toured the UK visiting 35 venues and talking to around 14,000 14-16 year olds. She also spoke at events for teachers and science technicians.

The 1 hour talk covers the history of spaceflight and the future potential of the industry. The audience discover the physics behind space travel and explore this through interactive demonstrations, including the use of a 10m range catapult.
